A Student Life at Lakehead University

Created for the Toyo International Film Festival (TIFF), Tokyo

This short film was created in collaboration with a close group of friends, marking one of my first major creative projects. Produced for the Toyo International Film Festival, the project was both an exciting and challenging experience as we brought our vision to life from concept to completion.

Working with first-time actors, we focused on capturing authentic emotions and the everyday moments of student life. Despite having no prior acting experience, the cast delivered genuine and heartfelt performances that added depth and realism to the story.

The film blends lighthearted, joyful moments with more emotional scenes, creating a relatable and engaging narrative that reflects the ups and downs of student life. It’s a project that aims to make viewers smile, laugh, and connect on a personal level.
